On March 10, 2022, Borough of West Mayfield council duly accepted the resignation of council person Monica Sepp, effective immediately.
As per Title 8 of the Borough Code and Title 53 of the Statutes of Pennsylvania, council now seeks to fill the vacancy within 30 days by appointing a registered elector of the borough to fill the vacated office until it expires in 2024.
Also, applicants must have resided within the borough continuously for at least one year immediately prior to appointment.
