SUPPORT THE PENNSYLVANIA PARKS FUND
WEST MAYFIELD BOROUGH PARK
$50,000 Grant
We are working on updating our park to make it more ADA Compliant. What we are planning to do is update our park playground equipment, add in a trail around the park, update our bathrooms, and update our kitchen. We are a small borough that wants to make this a better place to bring your kids to play, have a barbecue, or just a relaxing day.
ABOUT YOUR DONATION
You will be asked to specify which county fund you would like to support. The Pennsylvania Parks Fund is a fiscally sponsored project of the Social Good Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. About the Pennsylvania Parks Fund
The Pennsylvania Parks Fund is a fiscally sponsored project of the Social Good Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to fund parks throughout Pennsylvania. This includes all national, state, county, city, borough, and township parks. PPF is broken down into 67 funds. That’s one fund for each county located within PA. When you support a specific county fund, your funds will be used for parks within that county directly. We believe our parks must be protected. Not only for our generation but for the many generations yet to come. Please join us in our mission to create a better funded park system today!

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The park shelter concession is under new management. Anyone who has previously entered into an agreement with the West Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department for a standing shelter reservation during 2024 and beyond must contact the borough’s Recreation Board as soon as possible to confirm your reservation and secure your deposit. Without this confirmation we cannot guarantee that your existing park shelter can be honored or that we will be able to recover your deposit from the West Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department to refund or hold for your reservation.

Clean Up Day in the Borough
Be the change you want to see in the world! Come join fellow citizens picking up trash throughout the borough and along our neighborhood streets. We’ll do as much as we can, but things will be better than before. Families with age appropriate kids are welcomed. Gloves, trash bags, and safety signage generously provided by the borough’s public works crew. Pizza and refreshments provided for lunch after the clean up.

2024 Easter Egg Hunt Down in the Hollow
Easter Egg Hunt Down in the Hollow was held in the community park on March 16, 2024 and it was a huge success! On behalf of the West Mayfield Recreation Board and Community Service Volunteers of West Mayfield, a big thanks to everyone for generously supporting this event for our kids, families, and the community. Together we are making West Mayfield a nicer place to live!
