Assistant Treasurer
As authorized by the Pennsylvania Borough Code (8 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 1107) and Council Resolution of 2026 Municipal Appointments and Authorizations (Res. 2026-02-11-03), the Borough of West Mayfield is seeking to appoint an Assistant Treasurer.
This paid municipal officer position will assist the Borough Secretary-Treasurer with limited financial duties, such as monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, reviewing municipal fund activity, and inspecting financial reports for completeness and accuracy. Experience with municipal finances and accounting is strongly desired.
