2026 Sound the Alarm Event
The City of Beaver Falls Fire Department is partnering with the American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania for the 2026 Sound the Alarm program. The program installs up to three free smoke alarms, creates emergency escape plans, and shares fire safety information for residents of Beaver Falls and West Mayfield Borough.
Program Details & Scheduling
- Sponsors: City of Beaver Falls Fire Department & American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania
- Eligibility: Residents of the City of Beaver Falls and West Mayfield Borough
- Cost: Completely free of charge
- Appointments: Due to high volume, installations must be pre-scheduled
How to Register
If you or someone you know needs smoke detectors, you can request an installation through the following channels:
Phone: Call the City of Beaver Falls Fire Station directly at 724-843-1135 to set up your installation time.
Regional Red Cross: Call 724-480-3170 or register online via the American Red Cross Sound the Alarm Portal
This is a great program in July for West Mayfield residents. But fire prevention and safety are always a concern for my fire department--every month, every day.
